 sales were up over twenty-five percent (25%) for the 12 month period ending Sept. 30, 2002, as compared to the same period last year. PHA saw significant growth of the Nicotrol(R)/ Nicorette(R) Inhaler in North America, Europe, Asia and Latin America; however, the US market, which has seen a double-digit increase in prescriptions for thirteen (13) consecutive months, generated about two-thirds (2/3) of this growth. PHA indicated it will continue to support the Nicotrol(R) Inhaler in the U.S. as well as increase overall brand support during the re-launch of PHA's Nicotrol(R) Patch.

ATP sold patented nicotine technology, which forms the basis of the Nicotrol(R)/Nicorette(R) Inhaler, to Pharmacia in exchange for payments of 3% of Pharmacia's net sales Net Sales
