McDonald's Martinique has launched a new product for World Cup of Soccer, a prepaid pre·pay

McDonald's Martinique has selected the SMS solution of Atlas Telecom Atlas Telecom is a worldwide communications company founded in France but currently based in Bermuda. It is a branch of Atlas Group. One of its largest divisions is Atlas Telecom Romania, which is a telephony provider and ISP in Romania.  Mobile (ATM) for its promotional campaign. These prepaid SMS cards allow fans to follow the event of the World Cup Soccer simultaneously on their mobile phone, anywhere, anytime, by means of SMS alerts. McDonald's Martinique's promotional World Cup cards will make it possible for the user to receive each day, by mini-messages, exclusive news on players, match results, and from June 21 2002 (the quarter finales) goal by goal SMS alerts for each goal.

These cards will be available from June 1st, 2002 in all participating McDonald's outlets in Martinique. McDonald's customers will be able to get them either by buying a "Special World Cup Menu" (two cheeseburgers, medium fries, medium drink and a SMS card with 12 messages) or 5 euros for one card without a meal.
