ATLANTA'S RADIO TALK SHOW HOSTS COME TOGETHER FOR ATLANTA PRESS CLUB FORUM

ATLANTA, March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- Radio and TV talk shows, which have become the political forums of the '90s, will be the topic of discussion Tuesday evening, March 24, as the Atlanta Press Club hosts five radio talk show hosts from competing stations in Atlanta.
The panel includes hosts: Neal Boortz and Mike Malloy from WSB-AM; and Sean Hannity, Kim Peterson and Ralph From Ben Hill from WGST-AM. Zeke Segal, who had a voice in inventing radio talk shows, will moderate.
The commuting public, which once tuned into music on their way to and from work, are now listening to talk radio, some exclusively, saying they feel the hosts are venting what the listener feels. The informal panel is expected to address why the public has moved in this direction and whether we are looking toward a future where political forums happen more and more on talk shows on both radio and TV.
The Press Club program is being held at Manuel's Tavern, 602 N. Highland Ave., Atlanta. A reception begins at 6:30 p.m. and the program will follow at 7:30 p.m. The cost is $3 for members and $5 for non- members and guests. Reservations are not required.
