ATLA offers updates on Vioxx.

In the wake of Merck & Co.'s worldwide withdrawn of the painkiller Vioxx, many ATLA members are meeting with potential clients who suffered adverse effects after taking the drug. To advance these attorneys' knowledge and help them assess and prepare cases, ATLA Education and the ATLA Exchange continue to update a variety of Vioxx resources.

For plaintiff members only, ATLA Education will hold a third Vioxx tele-seminar, "Painkillers and the FDA," on March 10. The faculty will include both doctors with expertise on the drug's side effects and ATLA members experienced in Vioxx litigation.
