 NET series, and, by now, I hope I have convinced you to subscribe to this exciting new online service for ATLA members.(1) If you are still hesitating, read on. Subscribing to ATLA NET is one of the best ways to get connected to the wealth of legal resources available on the Internet. The ATLA NET Web site contains a number of "hot links," which provide instant access to other Web sites. Other resources can be reached by directing your Web browser--sofware that allows you to navigate the Web--to a site's uniform resource locator See URL.

This service provides links to federal agency sites and lots of government information, including software and technical files that can be down loaded to your computer, recent U.S. government reports from all agencies, and access to the more than 10,000 FedWorld File Libraries. These libraries contain information on business, health and safety, and the environment. You can also order free catalogs that list hundreds of government documents. http://www. fedworld.gov/. American Bar Association American Bar Association (ABA), voluntary organization of lawyers admitted to the bar of any state. Founded (1878) largely through the efforts of the Connecticut Bar Association, it is devoted to improving the administration of justice, seeking uniformity of law . The association's home page provides access to ABA publications and information about the association's history, sections, and committees. It also has links to other Web sites of interest to lawyers. The page can be found at http://www.abanet. org/. Legal Sights. A list of Internet locations collected from the Net-Lawyers mailing list can be accessed at http://www.rbvdnr.com/legals.htm. Net-Lawyers is a "listserv," a resource on the Internet that is accessed by subscription only. Subscribers can send messages to a "host," who automatically forwards it to all subscribers. Anyone who reads the message can then respond. The messages are organized by subject, so subscribers can read only those messages on topics that interest them. FDA FDA

Cornell Law School The Cornell Law School was formally opened in 1887, but was moved to its present-day location at Myron Taylor Hall in 1937.
