Looking for ways to reduce your firm's expenses? ATLA members now can save up to 26 percent on express shipping courtesy of UPS. This program covers UPS's full portfolio of air and international services.

To take advantage of the UPS Savings Program, go to www.ups.com/ affiliate. There you will find program details and an enrollment form to fill out and submit online (select ATLA from the drop-down menu under "Your Association"). The discounts are based on your firm's shipping activity--so the more you ship, the more you save.

Once you're enrolled, using UPS is simple. Log on to www.ups.com and click on "Shipping" to process packages, then bring them to any of 61,000 drop-off points (the Web site provides locations when you run a simple search).

You also will have access to tools like UPS Quantum View Notify, which lets you know where your packages are. You can receive notifications when packages are picked up and delivered, and when there are "exceptions." Exception notices tell you why a package may not meet its original scheduled delivery date and provide rescheduled delivery information.

If your firm has more than one office, you may not have a way for staff in different locations to coordinate shipping. UPS CampusShip lets employees process and ship packages from their computers anywhere--in the office or on the road--while central decision-makers control the process and monitor costs.
