(Nasdaq:ATLPA), the leading supplier of automated DLTtape(TM) libraries for networked computers, Thursday announced StorageCare(TM), an expanded service program that provides coverage for ATL's new PowerStor(TM) autoloaders and tape libraries.

With the addition of StorageCare, PowerStor customers will benefit from the same factory-direct service afforded to ATL midrange and enterprise library customers featuring ATL's expertise in DLTtape automation technology, worldwide coverage and wide availability of spares throughout the life of their PowerStor products.

ATL's StorageCare service is also available to customers of Quantum-brand PowerStor products. This marks the first time that Quantum customers will be provided with the benefits of a factory-direct service program for the life of their PowerStor autoloaders and tape libraries.

In addition to the PowerStor Series, StorageCare has been designed to support all ATL libraries including the P3000 Series, P1000 Series, 7100 Series, 520 Series, 2640 Series, StorLink and the PL50 Library Hub.
