ATI's RADEON 8500 LE Propels Graphics in Fujitsu's FMV-DESKPOWER C24WB/M High-End PC; Proven Graphics Chosen for Strong Multimedia Capabilities.

ATI Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ:ATYT) (TSX:ATY) today announced that its RADEON(TM) 8500 LE will power Fujitsu's new FMV-DESKPOWER. This is the second win in the last week for ATI with Fujitsu.

At the time of its launch earlier this year, RADEON 8500LE was the first graphics card to bring full hardware DirectX(R) 8.1 support to mainstream users, allowing them to enjoy the same leading-edge features, effects and gaming performance previously available only to enthusiasts. RADEON 8500 LE features ATI's trademark technologies including: TRUFORM(TM) rendering, SMARTSHADER(TM) programmable pixel and vertex shaders, and SMOOTHVISION(TM) full-scene anti-aliasing.

Fujitsu's FMV-DESKPOWER C24WB/M consumer PC combines the power and flexibility of the RADEON 8500 LE with a 2.4G Pentium 4 processor, 256 MB of memory, a DVD multi drive, a TV tuner with MPEG2 hardware encode, wireless LAN, USB camera, headset, TV remote and 17-inch wide-screen LCD monitor.
