NEC's LaVie T is among the world's first notebook PCs to include ATI's MOBILITY RADEON chip. The MOBILITY RADEON graphics processor, the industry's highest performing, most feature-rich mobile graphics processor, brings all the features and performance of a desktop PC to the notebook space, including superior video editing capability, smooth DVD (digital versatile disc) playback, integrated TV-out, and superior multi-monitor support, and the ability to run the latest high-power video games and an extensive array of the industry's most graphics-intensive applications.

The NEC LaVie T notebook PC features the MOBILITY RADEON graphics controller with 8 MB (megabyte) of integrated DDR (double data rate) and other leading-edge components, including the Intel(R) Pentium(R) III processor running at either 1GHz (gigahertz) or 800MHz (megahertz), a 15.3-inch WXGA (wide extended graphics array) CTFT (color thin-film transistor) display, 256 MB RAM (random access memory), and a 60 GB (gigabyte) hard drive.
