(TSE:ATY, NASDAQ:ATYT), the number one supplier of notebook graphics worldwide, announced today that Compaq Computer Corporation (NYSE: CPQ) will use ATI's MOBILITY(TM) RADEON(TM) 7500 graphics processor for its new EvoNotebook N800 and Presario 2800 series notebook personal computers.

Both models are among the first announced notebooks in the world to include the new Intel Mobile Pentium 4 processor. They include ATI's MOBILITY RADEON 7500 with 64MB of dedicated 128-bit DDR video memory, dramatically raising the bar for notebook graphics performance.

The MOBILITY RADEON 7500 graphics processor, the industry's highest performance, most feature-rich mobile graphics processor, brings all the features and performance of a desktop PC to the notebook space, including unrivalled 3D performance, smooth DVD playback, integrated TV-out, superior multi-monitor support, and the ability to run the latest high-power video games and an extensive array of the industry's most graphics-intensive applications.
