Ltd. has chosen XILLEON(TM) 220 and NXT2004(TM) to power its line of consumer electronics products. XILLEON 220 is an advanced and highly integrated system-on-chip suitable for a range of digital devices including set-top boxes (STBs) and digital televisions (DTVs). NXT2004 VSB/QAM receiver provides superior reception performance in the presence of multipath, phase noise, impulse noise, adjacent and co-channel interference for both terrestrial and cable environments. Based in China, Hisense specializes in consumer electronics, household appliances and information technology.

Hisense is utilizing XILLEON 220 and NXT2004 to create ATSC (Advanced Television Systems Committee) An international digital television (DTV) standard adopted by the U.S., Canada, South Korea, Taiwan and Argentina.  (Advanced Television Systems Committee) TV and STB designs for the United States market. Hisense has plans to modify the design for the Chinese market when the DTV standard has been ratified.
