ATG Inc. Wins International Contract from Taiwan Power.

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 10, 1998--ATG Inc. (Nasdaq:ATGC), a leading provider of low-level radioactive waste treatment services, today announced the award of its first international contract with Taiwan Power Company to decontaminate copper condenser tubing which is contaminated with low-level radioactivity.

The initial contract is valued at $2.6 million.

The contract includes transportation, decontamination and beneficial recycling for reuse of the copper condenser tubing. Approximately 1.6 million pounds of slightly contaminated admiralty brass tubing will be decontaminated at ATG's Richland, Washington facility. Once the metal is decontaminated, it will be recycled for reuse. At today's market price the condenser tubes have a value of $750,000 when recycled.
