ATG Awarded New Waste Processing Contract; Contract Valued at over $22 Million for Five Years.

ATG Inc. (Nasdaq:ATGC), a leading provider of low-level radioactive and mixed waste treatment services, announced today that the company has been awarded a three-year contract by Bechtel Jacobs Company LLC for the transportation, processing, and disposal of various types of low-level radioactive wastes from all five Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge, Tennessee operations. The indefinite quantity contract has two one-year options and amounts to up to $22.1 million over the full five-year period.

Three of the five DOE sites are located in Oak Ridge, the fourth is the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Paducah, Kentucky, and the fifth is the Portsmouth Gaseous Diffusion Plant in Portsmouth, Ohio. ATG's scope of work on the contract also includes providing assistance with the development and implementation of plans and procedures that will enable Bechtel Jacobs to dispose of waste at the DOE's Hanford and Nevada Test Site burial facilities. The contract will make use of a variety of ATG thermal and non-thermal, low-level radioactive waste processing capabilities, including the company's SAFGLAS thermal treatment process, with treatment occurring primarily at ATG's Richland, Washington facilities.
