This award brings the total award for the treatment of 26 tanks to an approximate value of $2.5 million, including contract amendments to the original award in August 1999. The new contract involves in-place treatment of tanks to meet risk assessment criteria, and the subsequent on-site treatment of the sludge contents as required. Under the contract, ATG will clean the tanks and grout Grout A binding or structural agent used in construction and engineering applications. Grout is typically a mixture of hydraulic cement and water, with or without fine aggregate; however, chemical grouts are also produced. fill them for in-place closure.
