ATG Announces the Appointment of New Chief Operating Officer.

FREMONT, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 13, 2000

ATG, Inc. (Nasdaq:ATGC), a leading provider of waste management services, today announced the appointment of Mr. Vik Mani as its Chief Operating Officer.

Mr. Mani joins ATG from CH2M Hill, where he is currently Senior Vice President, Nuclear Systems and Services. During his seven year tenure at CH2M Hill, Mr. Mani played key roles for the Denver based environmental project management giant in the acquisition of billions of dollars of nuclear projects. Between 1993 and 1995, Mr. Mani served as the Capture Manager for the acquisition of the Rocky Flats contract, CH2M Hill's first major multi-billion dollar Department of Energy Environmental Management Project.

Prior to joining CH2M Hill, Mr. Mani held several senior management positions in the nuclear industry serving both commercial nuclear facilities and the Department of Energy. Mr. Mani served two years as Senior Vice President for Rust Federal Services and played a key role on the Rust Federal Services and Lockheed Martin team that acquired the INEEL M&O contract.

As Vice President of Government Services for Raytheon Engineers & Constructors, Mr. Mani was the Capture Manager and Project Manager for Raytheon's first nuclear waste management project -- the Waste Receiving and Processing (WRAP) project in Hanford, Washington. During Mr. Mani's tenure as the Vice President of Government Services, Raytheon Engineers & Constructors also won the construction management contract for DOE-Hanford's High Level Waste Vitrification Project (HWVP). Prior to becoming Vice President, Government Services, Mr. Mani served as the Director of Operations for nearly a decade managing Engineering and Construction Management activities of the multi-billion dollar Washington Nuclear Projects in Richland, Washington. Mr. Mani and his team led the effort, along with prominent community leaders in Richland, Washington to utilize the Washington Nuclear Project No 1 as the nation's replacement tritium production facility.

Mr. Mani has over 30 years of experience in the nuclear industry and graduated with a Master of Science degree in Engineering Management and Nuclear Engineering from the Drexel University. He is a registered Professional Engineer in Nuclear Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. He is the published author on Design Measures to Reduce Occupational Radiation Exposure.

As ATG's Chief Operating Officer, Mr. Mani will be based in Richland, Washington, "For my wife and I, returning to this wonderful place after being away for many years is like returning home," Mr. Mani said. Mr. Mani and his wife Kamala will be moving to Richland Washington during the second week of November.
