Aeroflex has launched its 5800 Series multi-configuration, multi-function ATE system. It reportedly features an open hardware and software architecture, and reconfigurable pinface styles. The 5800 series is available in three different body styles: bench top (5820), floor standing (5850) and rack-mount (5830). Three instrument cards will be available initially with more in development.
