ATCO Group is an Alberta-based international organization engaged in power generation. Treaty 8 First Nations of Alberta represents 23 nations covering about half of Alberta and 32,000 people.

ATCO has formed a number of alliances with First Nations communities, and that history seemed to influence the new relationship.
