ATA Sets New Record Over Thanksgiving Weekend for Enplaned Passengers.

) set a record on Sunday, November 25, with 22,508 enplaned passengers.

Chicago Express Chicago Express Airlines, Inc. (IATA: C8, ICAO: WDY, and Callsign: Windy City) was a regional airline formerly based at Chicago Midway International Airport located in Chicago, Illinois. It operated regional feeder services under the name ATA Connection.  (doing business as ATA Connection) reported 2,621 enplaned passengers for Wednesday, November 21, also setting a record.

Since September 11, ATA's on-time performance has averaged 84% (figure based on average of scheduled service daily departures system-wide from 9/11-11/20/01). During the Thanksgiving travel period beginning on Wednesday, Nov. 21 through Sunday, Nov. 25, the carrier's on-time performance rose to 86%.

ATA began service to Miami on Nov. 16, and continues to build its flight schedule. Tickets to the airline's new international destinations will be available for purchase in the next few weeks.
