Fuller's appointment as Vice President at ATA follows an accomplished career in aviation, most recently as Director of Strategic Planning. He was an instrumental team member in facilitating the acquisition of 50 new aircraft from Boeing, and for spearheading a major capital project to build a new Training Center in Chicago near Midway Airport, the carrier's busiest hub. Before coming to ATA, Fuller served as a Naval Aviator and Lieutenant Commander for the United States Navy United States Navy Major branch of the U.S. military forces, charged with defending the nation at sea and maintaining security on the seas wherever U.S. interests extend. The Continental Navy was established by the Continental Congress in 1775. from 1982 to 1996. He also served as a Squadron Aircraft Maintenance Officer, forward deployed to Japan, and an Operational Test Director in China Lake, Calif. After serving in the Navy, he accepted a position at The Boeing Company in St. Louis, where he was part of the IMACS IMACS International Association for Mathematics and Computers in Simulation IMACS Interservice Material Accounting and Control System IMACS Integrated Multiple Access Communications Server IMACS Integrated Monitoring Alarm & Control System (integrated manufacturing and control system) team.
