ATA Interrupts Service From Chicago-Midway Airport.

INDIANAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 14, 2001
ATA's (American Trans Air, Inc.)(Nasdaq:AMTR AMTR - Annual Media and Technology Report AMTR - Anterior Medial Temporal Resection AMTR - Atlantic Missile Test Range AMTR - Australian Music Teachers Register) scheduled service from Chicago-Midway Airport was interrupted today after an ATA ticket agent identified a passenger that might be a security risk.
As a result of the carrier's security procedures, the agent immediately telephoned the Chicago Police Department who responded quickly. Chicago law enforcement has detained two individuals. ATA will continue to cooperate with authorities.
