ATA Connection Brings Honest Growth to the Midwest; Regional Air Carrier Adds Flights from Chicago-Midway to Flint, Toledo and Springfield, Ill.

Reaffirming its commitment to travelers, ATA Connection (operated by Chicago Express Airlines, Inc.), a wholly owned subsidiary of ATA Holdings Corp. (Nasdaq:ATAH)(parent company of ATA Airlines, Inc.), is announcing additional roundtrip flights. Starting Oct. 26, 2003, ATA Connection will provide an additional roundtrip flight to and from Chicago-Midway to Flint, Mich., Toledo, Ohio and Springfield, Ill. The move comes at a time when many of the major carriers are cutting back services at regional airports, leaving commuters hard-pressed to find low-fare travel options.

The additions also increase choices in making connections to more than 40 destinations through the ATA network. Passengers on ATA can connect from Flint, Toledo and Springfield to business markets such as New York and San Francisco, leisure destinations such as Hawaii and Orlando and international cities such as Guadalajara, Mexico.

Travelers can begin booking travel immediately for the new flights. The lowest, fully-refundable, one-way walk-up fare to Chicago-Midway will cost $187(a) from Flint, $194(a) from Toledo and $202(a) from Springfield. These additions are being announced at the same time ATA Connection's parent company (ATA Airlines, Inc.) is expanding service nationwide. On Monday, July 28, ATA announced additions and increased frequencies in several markets, including its first nonstop coast-to-coast flight from Newark to San Francisco.
