ATA Announces its ``Fall Sale''; Purchase Tickets by July 22nd and Save!

ATA (American Trans Air, Inc.) (Nasdaq:ATAH) today launched a "Fall Sale" featuring special, low fares for customers planning the perfect fall getaway.

These fares are available today through Monday, July 22, 2002, until midnight E.S.T. for travel August 13 through December 12, 2002, to and from Chicago-Midway and Indianapolis. These fares are also good for travel August 13 through September 30, 2002, to all other ATA markets (except to and from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, for travel beginning August 15, 2002; to and from Lexington, Ky., for travel beginning August 28, 2002; and to and from San Jose, Calif., for travel beginning October 1, 2002).(a) As an added bonus, customers who book their reservations online at ATA.Com will save an additional $10 per round-trip, per person, on these already low sale fares.

ATA's "Fall Sale" fares are off-peak, each way based on a round-trip purchase. Listed below are a few examples of the sale fares available:

Tickets must be purchased by 7/22/02, midnight (EST). Fares are off-peak, each way based on round-trip purchase. These sale fares are non-refundable and subject to change without notice. Seats are limited and may not be available on all flights and dates. Not all destinations are served on a daily basis. Some flights are provided by Chicago Express Airlines, Inc., doing business as ATA Connection. Customers booking via ata.com receive $10 discount per round-trip, per person. A passenger facility charge of up to $18 per round-trip is not included in the fares. Fares do not include a September 11th security fee of up to $10 per round-trip. Additional government fees of up to $26 to San Juan per round trip are not included in the fares.
