:ATJ) announced today that Mr. Andrew J. Smith, Chairman of the Board, will become interim President and CEO and Mr. Geff Perera, previously Chief Financial Officer of Rexene Corporation, will become interim Vice President, Finance and CFO, effective December 31, 1999.

The Board of Directors announced that it would move immediately to plan an equity issue.

Mr. J.G. (Geoff) Clarke and Mr. Jim Donaghy have decided to retire from their respective offices of President and CEO, and Vice President, Finance and CFO effective December 31, 1999. Mr. Clarke will assume the office of Executive Vice Chairman of the Board with responsibility for identifying long-term strategic growth opportunities. Mr. Donaghy will continue as a director of the Company.
