Douglas Kendrick joins the sales department of Kent Feeds, Muscatine, Iowa, as the district manager for a southwestern Wisconsin district. He is a graduate of the University of Ilinois, Urbana.

AgriAmerica. com, an informational Internet portal serving the Indiana farm community, has opened a local sales division and hired Jessica Dykstra as e-account executive. Dykstra will work with Indiana-based farm organizations and agribusinesses to market their goods and services to Indiana producers via the Internet. She has worked as an assistant Extension educator in Warren County, Ind., and in customer relations for Dow AgroSciences.

T-Systems International, San Diego, has hired Bob Brendel as the new general manager for its North American (TSN) office in San Diego. Formerly Brendel was president and CEO of Trade Service Publications.

The Kenna Group, Winnipeg, Manitoba, announces the appointment of Craig Evans as vice president of marketing. He brings more than 20 years of senior management experience to The Kenna Group in sales, marketing, distribution, public affairs and general business management within the agriculture, food processing and biotechnology industries.

Agri Business Group, Inc., Indianapolis, announces the addition of Kevin Doyle to its staff. Doyle joins the Agri Business Group as the new lead graphics designer in the interactive technology department, with responsibility for creating graphical user interface and presentation layer for Web-based applications.

Garst Seed Co., Slater, Iowa, promotes Steve Klein to director of sales and marketing, Mike Smidt to national sales manager and Lori Thomas to marketing manager. Klein will oversee all the sales, marketing, product management and communications programs for Garst, as well as the AgriPro, Gutwein and PSA brands. He previously was Garst's marketing manager. Smidt most recently was marketing communications manager. Thomas was a district sales manager covering several major corn counties in central Iowa.

Chandler, Ehrlich & Co., Memphis, Tenn., announces the addition of Mike Leon as senior vice president and creative director, Ron Gerlach as senior writer, Josh Baze as account manager and Jonathan Schmitt as an account coordinator. Leon was formerly creative director for Valentine Radford in Kansas City, Mo., where he handled accounts such as, Bayer Garden, Professional Care and Hallmark. Gerlach was most recently a senior copywriter and broadcast producer with O'Conner Kenny Partners in Memphis. Baze was previously an account manager with Barkley, Evergreen and Partners in Kansas City. Schmitt was most recently an account management intern at The Tombras Group in Knoxville, Tenn.
