AT&T to host seminars.


BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 15, 1995--Confused about cyberspace Coined by William Gibson in his 1984 novel "Neuromancer," it is a futuristic computer network that people use by plugging their minds into it! The term now refers to the Internet or to the online or digital world in general. See Internet and virtual reality. Contrast with meatspace. ? Interested in the Internet, but not sure exactly how and why you should be? Questions like that abound in today's world, and AT&T is preparing to answer a lot of them for emerging Massachusetts businesses.

During the next several weeks, AT&T will host seminars throughout the state for small and growing businesses on the Internet entitled en·ti·tle

 "Internet and Your Future: What It Can Mean For Your Business."

The seminar schedule includes the following presentations:

- Braintree on Friday, Nov. 17 at the Sheraton Tara at 37 Forbes Road;

- Boston on Wednesday, Nov. 29 at the Copley Plaza The Fairmont Copley Plaza hotel (or Copley Plaza as it is colloquially known) is a four-star hotel in downtown Boston, Massachusetts. It was built in 1912 on St. James Avenue and defines the south side of Copley Square.

Costello said the seminar program will consist of four components: an overview of the Internet; a look at AT&T's role in accessing and using the Internet; AT&T's Business Network Online offer; and future tools for growth. And, he noted, there will be plenty of time for questions and answers.
