This allows a person to attach a voice message to a fax message, and to call in for messages and hear not only about voice messages, but also about fax messages. For privacy and security as well as convenience, people can direct, via the phone, that the fax messages be printed out to any fax machine, for instance at home, at an office they are visiting, at a hotel, or at their own desktop printer. No separate server or fax boards are required for these capabilities. The Intuity AUDIX system contains nine co-existent languages, making it more comfortable for multi-cultural employees, multi-national partners and international customers to leave messages and get information. The system, which saves money and time, is for companies having from ten to 500,000 users. It has the capacity to add other multimedia features as they are developed in the near future. The DEFINITY(R) PC Console attendant incorporates Windows(TM)(a) popular software, and enables even the largest businesses to give callers faster and better service. With this product, an attendant sees much more information than traditional consoles provided and can sort that information on a computer screen in instant response to a caller's request. It gives attendants immediate access to employee information such as extension and department, pager number, cellular phone number, date of an employee's scheduled return from vacation, or the person in charge in the interim. Operators can log into one of the four languages provided with the system, or to other languages which are easily added. Available around the globe beginning January, 1996, the Definity PC Consoles, using advanced software and hardware, will provide operators with information on six different in-coming calls simultaneously. Traditional systems, based on hardware alone, display information on only one in-coming call.
