AT&T board elects two new directors.NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 1995--AT&T today announced the election of Kenneth T. Derr Kenneth T. Derr is a member of the board of directors of the Halliburton Company. He is a Retired Chairman of the Board, Chevron Corporation (international oil company). He served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Chevron Corporation, 1989-1999. and Ralph S. Larsen to its board of directors. Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX) is one of the world's largest global energy companies. which has petroleum operations in the U.S. and in nearly 100 other countries. In his 35 years with Chevron, Derr has held key executive positions in nearly every part of the company, including heading the program to merge the Chevron and Gulf corporations. Derr, 59, joined Chevron after graduating from Cornell University with B.M.E. and M.B.A. degrees. He was elected a director of Johnson & Johnson in 1987, and assumed his current position as chairman and CEO in 1989.
