AT&T announces agreement with Jones Intercable to lease fiber route for service in Chicago suburbs.


CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 14, 1996--AT&T said today that it has signed an agreement with Jones Intercable Jones Intercable was a Cable TV company founded by Glenn Jones. Jones, already a cable television veteran, bought his first cable system in Georgetown, Colorado after taking a $400 loan on his Volkswagen.
