AT&T announced availability of low cost netbooks with 3G data contracts.

:T) announced Monday that it is to expand its mobile netbook lineup, making three additional netbook models available for purchase from its stores and online via its website.

The company said that the three new netbooks - the Acer Aspire One, the Dell Inspiron Mini 10, and the Lenovo S10, will cost USD USD

The Dell Inspiron Mini 10 weighs 2.86 pounds and features Microsoft Windows XP Home, a 160GB hard drive, 1GB of memory, built in webcam, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator and integrated audio.

The Lenovo S10 is less than 1" thick and weighing 2.63 pounds. The netbook features 3G and WiFi and comes with 1GB of memory, 160GB of storage, Microsoft Windows XP Home and a built-in webcam.

AT&T also announced the availability of its ConnecTech services specifically tailored to netbooks, providing three options of support for netbooks purchased from AT&T, with prices from USD99 for remote online support to USD199 for in-home technical support.

The netbook offer price requires the purchase of a two year AT&T DataConnect Plan. Tarrifs for the DataConnect Plan include including a 200MB plan for USD40 per month or a 5GB plan for USD60 per month. Plans include Wi-Fi access at some 20,000 hotspots across the US.
