AT&T WorldNet Service to provide Internet access for customers of Expert Software's best-selling CD-ROMS.

Expert Software will initially include AT&T WorldNet Service, AT&T's value-added Internet access See how to access the Internet.  service, on Home Design 3D(TM), Landscape Design 3D(TM), Resume Writer(TM), Championship Chess(TM) and 11 other top-selling CD-ROM titles. The company plans to include software for dial access to AT&T WorldNet Service on additional CD-ROM titles in 1997, and to explore ways to integrate those titles with AT&T's Internet access.

Expert Software publishes some of the industry's top-selling consumer software titles under $20. AT&T long-distance customers can receive unlimited Internet access through AT&T WorldNet Service, and around-the-clock technical support, for $19.95 a month. AT&T residential long-distance customers also can receive their first five hours of usage each month free for a year, and pay $2.50 for each additional hour. Non-AT&T customers can pay $4.95 for three hours a month, and $2.50 per hour thereafter, or can receive unlimited access for $24.95 per month. Pricing plans do not include telephone access charges for reaching AT&T WorldNet Service.

AT&T currently provides telephone service to more than 80 million residential phone users and 10 million business customers. Dial access to AT&T WorldNet Service became available March 14, and AT&T has since received more than 550,000 requests for the access software.
