The state's largest city, it is an important livestock market, a wholesale, distribution, industrial, and financial center, and a farm , it has delivered nearly $4 million of phones from around the country and local airtime air·time n. 1. Over $1 million a day in donated airtime has been used by a large number of public safety organizations on the federal, state and local levels. Three portable cell sites have been erected to increase the capacity of the local cellular system. Two have been placed downtown and one is placed near the fairground site of the presidential visit on Sunday. Two hundred of AT&T's local Cellular One employees have been dedicated full-time to not just getting communications into the hands of the families of victims and support organizations but volunteering to help their neighbors.
