AT&T South Carolina Presents 19th Annual African-American History Calendar.

 African-American History Calendar today. It is designed for students to learn more about the contributions of distinguished African-Americans, and the 2008 calendar features stories about African-Americans who were born in South Carolina or have a significant connection to the state. More than 230 people have been featured in the calendar since the project was launched in 1989.

The 2007 - 2008 calendar features individuals from the areas of broadcasting, civil rights, education, health care, the performing arts and entertainment, photography, politics, and law. The calendar is available at http://www.scafricanamerican.com/media, along with additional information on past honorees.
