The AT&T Super Service Plan, which became available at AT&T Phone Centers nationwide in August, is an addition to the standard and extended warranties available to purchasers of AT&T phones and answering machines. Super Service Plan subscribers can extend their warranties for as long as they wish, and receive other benefits as well, by paying a low monthly fee based on the purchase price of the product. In addition to receiving an immediate temporary replacement if repair is required, the subscriber also receives free replacements for damaged accessories such as extended phone cords, cordless phone A wireless telephone that transmits to and receives signals from a base station within a range of a few hundred feet.
