service plan with a high-value twist: Subscribers can get back all they pay and more toward the purchase of a new product in 18 or 30 months.

The AT&T Super Service Plan, which became available at AT&T Phone Centers nationwide in August, is an addition to the standard and extended warranties available to purchasers of AT&T phones and answering machines. Super Service Plan subscribers can extend their warranties for as long as they wish, and receive other benefits as well, by paying a low monthly fee based on the purchase price of the product.

The program offers expanded protection that is especially valuable for active families and those with home offices, who depend on their phones and answering machines to keep them in touch. If their product needs repair, they can receive a temporary loaner at any AT&T Phone Center while they wait for a replacement. In addition to receiving an immediate temporary replacement if repair is required, the subscriber also receives free replacements for damaged accessories such as extended phone cords, cordless phone A wireless telephone that transmits to and receives signals from a base station within a range of a few hundred feet.
