AT&T OFFERS SAVINGS ON CALLS AT THE AIRPORT

PHILADELPHIA, June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- AT&T (NYSE: T) today announced it will offer 30 percent savings off its normal rates for collect calls made from public pay phones on the concourses of Philadelphia International Airport.
The summer sale on collect calls will run from June 18 through Sept. 18. In many cases, this will be the least expensive way to make such calls from Philadelphia International. For example, a 10-minute collect call from the airport to Washington will cost only $3.21 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
Callers can reach AT&T's network and its experienced operators -- even at non-AT&T phones -- simply by dialing 10+ATT+0 or 1-800-321-0ATT+0, plus the area code and number they desire.
"Airport travelers frequently make collect calls to stay in touch with their homes or offices," said Jack McMaster, AT&T product management director. "We'd like to remind them that they can always reach AT&T for dependable service and competitive rates, no matter where they are. This reminder is especially important given overstated savings claims at least one company currently makes about its unbranded service."
