AT&T INTRODUCES SWITCHED DIGITAL VOLUME PLAN.


BASKING RIDGE, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 1995--In response to customers' growing business communication needs, AT&T today announced the introduction of a new volume-discount plan for subscribers of AT&T Global Switched Digital Services (GSDS GSDS Golden State Donor Services

), advanced digital communication technology.

Effective immediately, the AT&T Switched Digital Volume Plan will automatically provide AT&T GSDS customers with greater cost savings as their usage grows. Discounts will be calculated based on monthly usage, with no term commitment.

The plan offers four levels of savings -- bronze, silver, gold, and platinum -- based on gross monthly usage. At the bronze level, customers spending from $50 to $500 a month will receive a 5-percent discount. At the silver level, customers spending from $501 up to $1,000 save 8 percent. Customers spending from $1,001 to $3,000 qualify for gold level discount of 12 percent. The maximum discount level, platinum, provides savings of up to 15 percent for gross monthly usage of $3,001 to $8,000.
