AT&T Broadband has introduced its lightning fast, high-speed cable Internet service, AT&T@Home, in the communities of Wilmette, Morton Grove and Lincolnwood effective August 8, 2001. AT&T@Home delivers multimedia content directly to a personal computer via a cable connection, cable modem and customized AT&T@Home software at speeds many times faster than typical with a regular phone line. AT&T Broadband will offer @Home to both cable and non-cable customers in these communities.
