There is a lot of talk these days about the future of interactive television, but VOD is here now," said Henk Hanselaar, president and chief executive officer of DIVA. "While deploying our technology commercially the past three years, we have seen the hardware and software costs come down significantly from the industry's earlier trials. Now we're seeing VOD help drive penetration of digital cable and generate incremental revenue.
