AT&T's a2b music Names Jim Kuster Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 16, 1999--Larry Miller, chief operating officer of AT&T's innovative digital distribution solution a2b music(sm), has named James (Jim) Kuster vice president of corporate development and chief financial officer. His responsibilities will be to advance relationships with strategic partners and oversee a2b music's financial operations. Kuster had been managing director in the Global Media and Telecommunications Group of Chase Securities, Inc, the investment banking division of Chase Manhattan Corporation.

Prior to joining Chase's media group in 1986, he was a partner in the firm BCK & Company, which provided music production services to ad agencies and video programming companies. Kuster received his MBA from Duke University (Fuqua School) in 1982, and his BA from Davidson College in 1980. Kuster is also the keyboardist in the band Talk is Cheap (www.talkischeap.com). That band released two jazz/fusion albums through Rounder, and currently has five recordings of children's music independently released on Bright Horizons as the Crawdaddys.
