His responsibilities will be to advance relationships with strategic partners and oversee a2b music's financial operations. Kuster had been managing director in the Global Media and Telecommunications Group of Chase Securities, Inc, the investment banking division of Chase Manhattan Corporation The Chase Manhattan Corporation was a bank holding company formed as parent of the Chase Manhattan Bank.

During its time as the parent company, it was led in succession by David Rockefeller, Willard C. Butcher, and Thomas G. Labrecque.

Kuster received his MBA from Duke University (Fuqua School) in 1982, and his BA from Davidson College in 1980. Kuster is also the keyboardist in the band Talk is Cheap (www.talkischeap.com). That band released two jazz/fusion albums through Rounder, and currently has five recordings of children's music independently released on Bright Horizons as the Crawdaddys.
