US-based audio, radio and communications simulation and digital network communication equipment provider Advanced Simulation Technology Inc (ASTi) has selected connectivity A generic term for connecting devices to each other in order to transfer data back and forth. It often refers to network connections, which embraces bridges, routers, switches and gateways as well as backbone networks.  technologies provider Icron Technologies Corp to supply its ExtremeUSB technology.

ASTi will integrate the USB technology from Icron into its Telestra hardware for local and remote radio and communications routing. The addition of ExtremeUSB will enable USB cables to be up to 330 feet long so that ASTi customers have more flexibility to position the audio interface devices where they are needed.

The financial terms of the agreement were not announced.
