ASTAR Air Cargo Announces Key Promotions within Crew Resources Department.

MIAMI -- Ted Mallory, Senior Vice President for Flight Operations at ASTAR Air Cargo, announced today that the company has promoted Jay Motsinger from Manager to Director of Crew Resources. As part of a realignment of responsibilities in Crew Resources, the company has also promoted Todd Downs from Supervisor Crew Scheduling to Manager Crew Resources. These promotions serve as a continuation of the reorganization efforts already implemented in Flight Operations to allow us to better serve the Line Pilot group and ensure a smooth transition to the Wilmington Hub later in 2005. Jay will continue to be responsible for long-range optimization and near term resource allocation for ASTAR's 500 Line Pilots, along with serving on the company's team in its negotiations with the Airline Pilots Association. Todd will assume responsibility for day-to-day Crew Scheduling operations, along with recruiting, hiring, and training of Crew Resources personnel.

"Jay and Todd are key contributors to the ASTAR Air Cargo Flight Operations team," said Ted Mallory, "and provide essential direction for the company's operations." Jay has over nine years of experience in the airline industry. Prior to joining ASTAR Air Cargo, Jay held finance and crew resource management positions at Northwest Airlines and Champion Air. Todd has over 18 years of experience with DHL and ASTAR Air Cargo, with time spent in ramp operations and in Crew Scheduling.

Jay has a B.S. in Finance from Miami University and an MBA in Finance from Case Western Reserve University.
