ASTA with NSOA hosts first national conference. (Items of Interest).
The American String Teacher's Association with National School Orchestra Association (ASTA WITH NSOA NSOA - National School Orchestra Association) will host its first national conference, "Celebrating Strings: All Together Now!", March 27-29, 2003, at The Ohio State University.
Keynote speaker for the weekend will be Robert Duke, professor of music education at The University of Texas at Austin. The conference will include more than seventy-five informational sessions covering a wide range of content applicable to string teaching and performance. Music industry representatives will be on hand to promote new products and services.
