(Items of Interest).The American String Teachers Association The American String Teacher's Association (or ASTA) is a professional organization based in the United States for music teachers. It is the largest such national organization in the US for string teachers. WITH the National School Orchestra Association (ASTA WITH NSOA NSOA National School Orchestra Association ) announces the recipients of the Potter's Violins Instrument Awards. Dalton Potter, owner of Potter's Violins in Bethesda, Maryland Bethesda is an urbanized, but unincorporated, area in southern Montgomery County, Maryland, just Northwest of Washington, D.C.
