AST Research announces changes to board of directors.


IRVINE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 21, 1995--AST Research Inc. (ASTA--NASDAQ) today announced changes to its board of directors with the resignations of Delbert W. Yocam and Noh Byung Park.

The company has no current plans to fill the two new openings, but will replace the director position left vacant by James T. Schaith, former president and chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

A director since 1992, Yocam served on the board's audit and compensation committees. Park, elected to the board in July, resigned to keep Samsung's board representation at one less than the majority, in accordance with membership requirements following the recent completion of the Samsung strategic investment.
