ASRC Management Services Wins NASA Shared Service Center Contract.

GREENBELT, Md. -- NASA announced selection today of Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) of Falls Church, Va., as the prime contractor to support the NASA Shared Services Center (NSSC). As a sub-contractor to CSC, ASRC Management Services (ASRC MS) will provide financial management support. CSC selected the Stennis Space Center, Miss., as the location for the NSSC. The total value of the contract, including all options, is approximately $230 million over the 10-year performance period.

The NASA Shared Services Center is a new activity for NASA and will open for business beginning October 1, 2005. The establishment of this new center is part of the NASA Transformation that supports the Vision for Space Exploration. The NSSC will consolidate a variety of transactional and administrative activities currently being done at each NASA center and Headquarters. These include services for human resources, procurement, financial management and information technology operations. NASA expects significant annual savings from consolidating services once the NSSC transition is completed.

ASRC MS will be responsible for providing functional support to the NSSC in the financial management arena including:

--Accounts Payable (Payroll, Travel, Vendors)

--Accounts Receivable (Billing, Collection)

--Payroll, Time & Attendance

--Labor Processing/Distribution

--Financial Reporting (General Ledger, Treasury 224, NF-1018's)

--Reimbursable Accounting (Collections, Closeouts)
