ASPEC Technology Strengthens Executive Team with New Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing; Directors of Sales and Marketing Both Promoted to VPs.


SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 22, 1996--ASPEC Technology today announced the appointment of Perry G. Constantine as Executive Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing.

Constantine's appointment reflects ASPEC's commitment to building a strong executive team in order to manage rapid growth and propel the company to the leadership position in the Design Implementation Technology business. This, along with the promotion of the director of sales and the director of marketing to Vice Presidents, and the rapidly increasing number of employees, reflects ASPEC's commitment to having a strong management team in place to support the accelerating revenue growth reported this year.

Constantine's experience

Most recently, as President and CEO of Redwood Microsystems, Constantine was responsible for transitioning the company from seed stage to business phase, raising equity and defining a strategic marketing plan for its technology. With nearly thirty years experience in the computer and semiconductor industry, Constantine has worked in a number of different capacities including Senior Vice President for International Business Development of LSI Logic Corporation, Vice President of US Marketing and Sales and President and CEO of the Canadian affiliate of LSI Logic Corp. During his tenure at LSI Logic, the company grew to $600 million in sales. In addition, Constantine worked for Eaton Corp. Semiconductor Equipment Group and Fairchild Semiconductor. While serving as Eaton's Vice President of Marketing and Sales, Constantine had responsibility for $120 million in revenues and dealt extensively with U.S., Japanese and Korean semiconductor manufacturers. He holds a B.S.E.E. from Illinois Institute of Technology Illinois Institute of Technology, in Chicago; coeducational; founded 1940 by a merger of Armour Institute of Technology (founded 1892) and Lewis Institute (1896). .
