Gruen-Kennedy, Chell, Hunter and Corneil have served as officers
of the Consortium since its launch in May 1999, when 25 companies
founded the group. The number of offices was increased to better
reflect the additional responsibilities these volunteers have taken on
as the Consortium has grown to more than 470 member companies
worldwide, according to Executive Director Laura Ring. The new
positions of Regional Vice-Chairs were created in recognition of the
growing international membership, which now includes representation in
some 20 nations around the world, she added.
Also elected were 44 members of the Board of Directors, which was
expanded from its original 25 members to reflect the growth of the
Consortium in both numbers and international presence. The new
