ASMC announces agreement with University of Phoenix Online.

The University of Phoenix Online is a fully accredited, post-secondary institution offering to students worldwide online degree programs from the associate level to the doctorate level. It is the solution to furthering one's college career when job or family commitments prevent attendance at a classroom program. The agreement is a new ASMC member benefit and provides a significant cost savings (25 percent) to members and their families. (This discount does not apply to University of Phoenix resident programs on campuses.)

The program itself is both demanding and academically rigorous, using a compressed semester schedule, required interaction at least five times weekly with the course instructor and with other members in the class, and extensive reading and preparation time. Students who do not meet the scheduled course requirements are dropped, so participants must be ready to keep up the pace.
