ASIS International 50th Annual Seminar and Exhibits--the Largest Dedicated Security Show in the World; More than 17,000 expected to attend event in Dallas.

ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The ASIS International 50th Annual Seminar & Exhibits -- the most comprehensive educational and networking event in the security industry -- begins on Sept. 27 at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas. The Seminar is specifically designed for, and by, security professionals.

Already recognized as the largest dedicated security show in the world, this year's exhibit will be the largest ASIS has ever staged. An impressive array of 2,245 booth spaces covering 220,450 net square feet and occupied by more than 840 companies will feature the newest, most innovative technologies, products and services available from the world's leading security services and equipment providers--from secure biometric solutions to Web-based background screening; from covert video systems to armored vehicles, and everything in between.

Keynote speakers include Rudy Giuliani, former mayor of New York City, who will speak on leadership and vision in challenging times, and who will also participate in a Q&A session for paid attendees. MIT professor of Management and Economics, Lester Thurow, will speak on how "Fortune Favors the Bold," which urges an exploratory spirit for business. The well-regarded Security Insights Program will feature former U.S. Senators Steve Symms (R-Idaho) and George McGovern (D-South Dakota), who will conduct an in-depth examination of four crucial security subjects in a Congressional hearing format.

The ASIS Seminar will offer more than 135 educational sessions addressing a broad range of security topics, hosted by leaders and well-known speakers within the security industry.
