The stock symbol is APQ.T. Asia Pacific Resources Ltd. holds a 75% interest in a potash concession near Udon Thani, Thailand, located about 500 kms north of Bangkok. The concession covers an area of 2,333 sq.kms. During 1993, the Company completed the first phase of its exploration program and confirmed the presence of a high grade sylvinite sylvinite: see potassium chloride. deposit within the concession area at an average depth of 300 metres. The second phase of the exploration program began early in 1994 and is expected to be completed by May, 1995. The objective of this phase is to delineate the extent of the potash resource, and assess its ability to support an economic potash mining operation.
