ASI Launches New Universal Software That Reduces ERP Implementation Cycle and Costs.

SOUTHFIELD, Mich.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 29, 1999--Advanced Systems International (ASI) has introduced a powerful and flexible data distribution and access (DDA) product that will dramatically reduce ERP implementation cycles and costs.

ATLink(TM) provides a seamless universal interface between automated shop floor and warehouse data capture and the multiple ERP modules, packaged application integration software, bolt-on applications, and legacy systems which require this data.

The RAD (Rapid Application Development) tools and native Microsoft development tools, such as Visual Basic, were used to develop terminal applications supplied with ATLink(TM) and can reduce typical application development time by a factor of ten.

ATLink(TM) allows users to configure their own systems, in any manner they see fit, without the need to go back to the terminal vendor or ASI for specialized software. Integration tasks, which once took weeks, can now be performed in hours without extensive debugging or re-testing.
